U.S.: Credit-ED Survey
  • In May, Citi Cards announced the results of the 5th Annual Credit-ED survey. The survey seeks to better understand college junior and seniors' current knowledge and attitudes regarding finances and credit, and post-graduation expectations. This year's survey revealed that despite an uncertain economy and job cutbacks, college upperclassmen continue to embrace a youthful optimism towards their financial prospects after graduation. Nearly 60% of those surveyed expect full-time employment within three months of graduation with an average expected annual income after graduation of $37,165.
  • Anthony Merola, Senior Vice President, Citi Cards, conducted a radio media tour in support of the Credit-ED survey and spoke to nearly 20 stations promoting the survey's results and the great benefits of Citi's Credit-ED program (www.students.usecreditwisely.com), which provides students with the resources and support they need to manage their finances wisely.
